Intensive Workshop: Polyvagal Theory — A Science of Safety, Considering Neuroanatomy and Neurophysiology
Completed an advanced workshop on Polyvagal Theory with a specific focus on the neuroanatomy and neurophysiology underlying the science of safety. The program explored the pathways of the vagus nerve, the role of autonomic states in shaping behavior and perception, and the neurobiological foundations of co-regulation. Training emphasized practical applications of polyvagal-informed interventions to support trauma recovery, enhance resilience, and restore relational connection. This workshop reinforced my integration of neuroscience with somatic practice, further grounding my work in state-specific frameworks for nervous system regulation and embodied wellbeing.
