Psychedelic Assisted Therapy Summit

Participated in a professional summit examining the emerging field of psychedelic-assisted therapy through the lenses of neuroscience, psychotherapy, and integrative care. The program highlighted current research, clinical applications, and ethical considerations in the use of psychedelic medicines for trauma, depression, anxiety, and end-of-life care. Key themes included the role of set and setting, the therapeutic alliance, and the importance of nervous system regulation in preparation, facilitation, and integration. This summit expanded my perspective on future-facing approaches to mental health, reinforcing the value of bridging evidence-based science with embodied practices in order to support safe, sustainable healing.
